How can I have a merchant account without stretching my budget?
We have tried them all and find PayPal to be the best all around! They actually pay you to join - better then FREE! Have low rates, guarantee most transactions, have no complicated or binding contracts, no equipment and are just plain convenient! You merely open an account and give them your bank account data as verification, (your bank has already checked you out) and use a valid email address for credit card payments to be credited to.

You can easily have them collect credit card and check payments for you, from around the world, do electronic transfers to move money to any account, etc. like any modern bank, except there is no fuss or risk of chargebacks, in most cases. You set the preferences for your account and we install their shopping cart for you! They are so big and successful that eBay just bought them for $1.5 Billion!

How do you value a web or domain name?
Like anything else, by supply and demand! There are only about 30,000 words in the dictionary so single word names are worth more - "Business.com" sold for $10 million yet only costs $15 to renew ownership yearly. By using word combinations there are now over 29 million names registered!

The dot info, biz, org, gov, etc. have little market value, as a scan for "GoodFood" always finds goodfood.com before goodfood.net, goodfood.org, etc. it being more relevent, since dotcom names are far more popular. Also, someone meaning to type goodfood.net may from habit type goodfood.com and miss your site. The same with dashed names like good-food.com which is likely to send most of your traffic to goodfood.com. The one benefit of unpopular dashed names is that it is easier to get a high search engine listing for a specific product, like we did with colloidal-silver-generators.com. If you have a valuable name, get and use all the combinations and misspellings, like health2us.com, healthtous.com or collodial, colodial or coloidal silver, to prevent customer theft or traffic leakage to others. Later on we tell you how to instantly check for possible traffic volume for any word or phrase!

Words like "Yahoo" have no value or meaning initially but after millions spent in branding and valuable use, it is worth a bundle now! Two word names (with meaning) are usually worth $5,000-50,000, such as "PlantFood.com", while three word names are usually in the $500 to $2,000 price range. For referrals (your best prospects), you want a name that can be understood and easily spelled correctly by anyone. I hate "Itaglio.com", which I can rarely remember or spell correctly. They stupidly changed from BarterNet.com (so easy to spell, remember and descriptive) to that abortion! No matter how you promote, names with common and meaningful words or phrases related to your business or product are essential to business growth (unless you have millions to spend getting known)!

Ones like "AmericanMortgageCorp.com" would be higher valued, as they could do millions in sales yearly while "ColloidalSilverDirect.com" would be on the low end as they may never get above $50G sales/year. Once a profitable business is built, the name has a much higher value! Those with no meaning are of course useless, like "SouthernSilverCity.com". One and two word names are long gone and good three word names are hard to find. A gem sometimes pops up when someone forgets to renew a name, but investors are usually sitting there waiting for the best ones to expire. They can actually scan public records to see which will expire next Wednesday and submit a request to register it every second, until they get it!

We had $15,000 in sales last year from colloidal-silver-generators.com from about $2G of paid search engine advertising! The name of course was exactly what we sell, so it was easy to outrank our Health2us.com name on the search engines, plus traffic was more targeted to our product.

What should web hosting cost per year?
You can get it for $100 to $500 per year but must be careful of who you use as they can fail or sell out and leave you hanging (out of business until you relocate). We have had our trials and now use a few, so we can reroute traffic to the new location, being back online in a day!

Note: Web hosting is having someone else rent you space on their "always on computer", which has high speed phone lines, battery backup, tape backup, hacker blocks, etc. You can setup a host computer on your own easily but be prepared to get abused by hackers!

We provide free hosting for a year ($100/extra years if you want to renew hosting thru us), as we buy server space in bulk, currently having 45 active domains! Those that we have not yet developed, transfer click thru's to an active page. If you want to buy (and promote) many names, they are easy to link to one web address, at no added hosting cost! I don't like your page design, how do I change it?
You have hundreds of choices, but remember each is a new learning experience so try something you can understand without 6 months training! Windows has Pagemaker editor but after use, the page is virtually impossible to edit without using Pagemaker! I like a simple text editor like Windows Wordpad, but then you must learn HTML (hyper text markup language). Not hard but foreign to most. Uses simple commands enclosed in < and > such as "B" means bold and "/B" means end of bold. The web is full of tutorials on HTML or buy the "HTML for Dummies" book.

Or download free HTML editors or web templates or just pay a local kid to do it for you for $100! Just be sure to avoid flash and all the other fancy stuff, as your customer may not have it enabled and thus can not see your site! Marketing need not be fancy, just friendly, honest and easy for the customer to place a quick order! After all, they found you because they had a need to fill, so just do it!

When do the customers come to buy?
Never, if you forgot to advertise your location. Think of your site as a sign in your closet - "Home made chocolate chips for 2 cents!" Who will ever read it? A few family members maybe but any paying customers? To get local customers pass out business cards or use magnetic signs on your car or local paper ads. To sell to customers in Michigan, Canada, Africa, etc. you must list the site in the search engines! Either list at each one individually or find or buy a listing program or pay someone to list for you. We do it for you once but do not want to be in that business so will gladly tell you who to use or how to do it yourself. Do not expect any results (free listings) for a month or longer but we tell you how to get instant listings by investing about $15 bucks!

For the fastest results, pay per click is the current best buy! GoTo.com started it but most search engines now provide it - you bid 5 cents (or more) per click thru on certain keywords you select and then searches for those words will get customers in your door looking for those items! Even on a $15 margin item you only need one order per 300 click thrus to break even. Now you might say "Hay I want a profit also!" but in marketing, it is often economically feasable to lose money on acquiring a new customer, as repeat sales have NO acquisition cost! A very powerful marketing site closes up to 6% (1 in 16) of qualified visitors!

Free advertising abounds on the net. eBay is a great site - placing an ad assures you are seen by millions and you can not only make a sale or two but get free links to your page and introduce a product to the world at the same time. Barter sites are also good, you will surely barter some but also get to display links to your page and do a selling job with free ad space to all their users.

The good old standby in marketing is referral sales - your happy customer sends a pre-sold friend, who is ready to buy! Develope that area by openly asking for their help (referrals) or get them to pass out your business cards, etc. It really works, costs nothing and gives everyone a cozy warm feeling!

How much can I make with one of your sites?
How much do you want to work at having a business? First, as with any investment you must find the breakeven point, so you do not lose money! Say you decide to sell like we do, 16 ounces for $25 post paid and use only free advertising. If the domain name and web site value is only worth $250 to a willing (cash in hand buyer with limited vision), you must net $250 to break even, or get one $25 order/month, since expenses are close to $5/shipment. Just one customer that reorders each month could do that! More likely, with minimal promotion, you might add a few customers each month and earn 5-10 times your initial investment!

Face it, there are few businesses that expect to make a profit the first year but you can, through the Internet, assure a profit from the first month! Pay for visitors! Making $20/order means you can breakeven on one order/400 visitors you paid for at 5 cents each! Most search engines sell keyword click thrus at your bid price. Check overture.com with a search for colloidal silver and note what some advertisers paid for click thrus!

Yup, some paid over $1.00 per click but we still get traffic at 18 cents each, as number 16. Not enough to be real happy (maybe 50/month) like the top three, who get 1,000's of clicks but they are the leaders in "misleading promotion" and can thus convert more customers! A few you may note are just stupid - they may be paying 90 cents when the next lower is paying 55 cents - like duh, what is wrong with bidding/paying 56 cents?

How do you compete? Bid on hundreds of words or phrases people search for! We use some acne phrases that cost 5 cents per click and bring in sales of $500/month for Cs. Our goal of course is to sell a generator eventually but in the meantime are make $100/gallon on Cs sales! See sales below for specific details on how to do all of this.

I would say the practical single site limit for colloidal silver is $50G/year, if you expand into other forms of colloidal silver, such as a salve, bacterialcide kitchen spray, nose spray, injectables for vets/farmers, etc. A high margin business always has a value over annual sales, so you could sell out some day at $50,000+! I will explain why that is wise!

How fast can I push Internet sales?
As fast as you want, up to the practical limit of selling a single product on the net.
